I'm Chris Evans. I have 25 years' experience in communications around the world.

I started my career in my home country of the UK, before gradually moving further east. My first stop was Saudi Arabia, where I ran an office for a multi-national PR agency. I then progressed to Indonesia, before heading back to the Middle East and stops in Qatar and Bahrain.

I currently work with both companies and individuals around the world helping them communicate and grow their brand.

As well as spending a career in communications, I've also worked as a freelance journalist. I've written on topics ranging from Watford Football Club, to animal welfare, to articles about the little village by the sea I currently live in.

I founded the MaxSam Group to bring together my three main businesses:

1. MaxSam Communications

2. The "Stray Army" brand

3. My author persona of Maximilian Sam

I am an award-winning author of two children's books (It's A Stray Dog's Life and It's A Stray Dog's Life 2) and a compilation of adult fiction short stories (Stories From A Stray).

The idea for the children's books and the Stray Army brand came from the number of stray dogs and cats I currently look after. It's not unusual for me to be found walking ten dogs on the beach and feeding four or five cats in an evening.

The Stray Army brand shows what can be achieved from a standing start, whether you're a sole practitioner or a multi-national organisation. I'm now able to sell everything from t-shirts to lunchboxes, alongside my books.

I have built up a network which allows us to offer services you may not see listed here. I have experienced podcast presenters and trainers, designers, editors, and digital marketing specialists to ensure we can fulfil the needs of every client in the most effective way.
